A hometown show a few years before I was born. A Pigpen extravaganza... The Lovelight is pure energy. The reviewer below says it was the first? Just Incredible.

Also be sure to check out the previous night's performance: http://www.archive.org/details/gd1967-08-04.09110.sbd.vernon.shnf I personally enjoyed this show slightly better but it's really apples and oranges. Btw, The O'Keefe Centre still exists. The name changed to the Hummingbird Centre and then to the Sony Centre (corporate sponsorship, you know).

First Lovelight!
The first Turn on Your Lovelight, and it's a nice one. Momentous. Alligator, also pretty new for the band at this point, is hot hot hot, and tight.
